Oral-B Genius 9000 White Electric Toothbrush

This is the one I am currently using (I promise). It’s lasted me about 4-5 years including a lot of abuse which travelling and backpacking around Europe. Still going strong. There are some better new options but this is tried and tested. It comes with a bluetooth app and a mirror mount for your phone so you can see if you missed anywhere. I’ve never used it.

Electric toothbrushes are just so much better than manual brushes. Manual brushes are really hard to use correctly and most of the time too big to clean the entire mouth. I struggle to get a decent clean with a manual brush so I don’t expect my patients to either. Manual toothbrushes are for when you forget your toothbrush as most electric toothbrushes have a 1-2 week battery now, so manual toothbrushes are basically obsolete. The electric brush really does it all for you, which is important when your brain is basically asleep when you are brushing your teeth (when you’ve just woken up and when you’re just about to sleep).
